Wigan vs Blackburn Match Preview

Wigan is ranked at 16th place with 16 points and comes after some shaky performances where they got two wins and three losses over the last five matches. Right now they are sitting in the middle of the table with the same point-distance from both the relegation zone and play off zone.

Last season they went so close to participating the play offs for a promotion ticket and it seems like they want to try again this season.

In conclusion, I think both teams can score at least a goal here. Wigan has been doing pretty good considering they are a newly promoted team from League One and I guess sooner or later they will win their first match in front of their fans. Blackburn has got a solid team from last season as they managed to keep the core of it and I guess they should be able to score a goal here since their rivals failed to keep a clean sheet in four of the last five matches.
