Win for the first place and the prestige

Chile registered a second consecutive win in the group, this time against Ecuador (2-1). They opened the scoreline at the 8th minute, however, their opponent equalized from the penalty spot at the 26th minute. In the second half, Chile scored again at the 51st minute and that remained as the final result. After that outcome, they qualified to the knock out games and the only thing left open is their final ranking in this group. That's up to the final result in this one vs Uruguay.

Uruguay underestimated Japan and that almost led them to trouble. It was an amazing game that ended to a 2-2 draw. Asians scored first both times but 'Albiceleste' managed to equalize. In the second half, the team from Latin America missed many chances to score the winner. With that point, Uruguay secured their qualification to the knock out games, even as one of the best third teems of all the groups.

It's a game between two teams who have already secured their qualification to the last 8 of the competition. Chile, who registered only wins, proved their effectiveness so far, but 'Celeste' will look for a prestigious win, their hopes for the tournament are big. Uruguay to win is my call.
