Wolfsburg – Eintracht Frankfurt Match Preview

Wolfsburg will host Eintracht Frankfurt at Volkswagen Arena in this German Bundesliga football match.

Wolfsburg won their last match and got back to winning ways with a valuable win. They are still in 7th place but now with 33 points. This was their first win after five games without a single three-pointer. FC Koln is a tough team to beat and surely this was a big win for Niko Kovac's side. They will also try to win here in this match, an outcome that will give them a nice opportunity to fight for a UEFA Europa League spot until the end of the season.

Eintracht Frankfurt is in a mini-crisis since they lost three out of the last four matches. Two of those matches were in Bundesliga. They lost to RB Leipzig and also lost to FC Koln 3-0 which was a tough loss for them. They are currently in 6th position with 38 points. They are still in contention for a Champions League in the next season because Leipzig has only 4 points more. 

It will be a very important game for both teams. Eintracht is the team with more quality and if they play well they have a clear advantage against Wolfsburg but they are not playing that well recently. Eintracht Frankfurt is Niko Kovac's ex-team so this can also be an interesting factor. In the first match, earlier this season, Wolfsburg prevailed 0-1 on the road.
