Brazil vs Serbia Match Preview

Brazil and Serbia will be playing in this Group G game, the first for both these sides in the FIFA World Cup 2022. Switzerland and Cameroon are the other sides of this group. 

Brazil is the group favorite clearly and they are also the favorites to win the World Cup before the tournament started. Brazil has not performed well in the last three World Cups but has a good chance of winning this time as they have a lot of good players. Vinicius is the player to watch for them, alongside Neymar. 

Brazil's Antony has missed some games for Manchester United due to injury but he is recovering well. The manager would however prefer someone who is 100% fit and Raphinha could be a good option at right wing. Vinicius and Neymar are definitely starters and Richarlison might get the nod over Jesus. 

Serbia has done well as they have won four out of the last five games played but this will be a very big test for them. Serbia's Mitrovic who has been doing really well over the last two years is not fully fit and might miss this game. Vlahovic, Jovic, and Tadic would most probably be the front trio for Serbia. 

Serbia has also strong midfielders, however, the defense is their weakest point. 

I expect Brazil to start strongly and lead at the break.
