Brazil vs South Korea Match Preview

Brazil and South Korea are playing a match where the winner is advancing to the quarter-finals to play against the winner of Croatia vs Japan game.

Brazil won their first two matches in the tournament 2-0 and 1-0 allowing only 1 goal in their last match against Cameroon where they fielded a completely rotated squad. Players like Telles, Dani Alves, Bremer, Militao, Bruno Guimares, and Gabriel Jesus played in that game, while key players like Richarlision, Casemiro, Vinicius, Raphinha, and Thiago Silva remained on the bench.

South Korea managed to win against Portugal and that was really surprising because they didn't look that good in previous matches. Portugal played also with a mixed squad and that was an opportunity that South Korea managed to exploit. They counter-attacked them and because their rivals Ghana and Uruguay didn't do their job, they ended up second in this group. However, they will have a really tough match tonight against the first favorite in the tournament, Brazil.

Brazil is going to miss Neymar but they have a strong squad with a plethora of players in attack, like Gabriel Jesus, Vinicius, Raphinha, and Richarlision who can definitely replace him, at least in this match. Brazilian key players are rested in their last match and will be full of energy in this match. I expect from the Brazilians a similar match and domination as they had against Serbia, and considering that Korea's defense is not so reliable, I'll pick Brazil to prevail from the first half.
