Costa Rica vs Germany Match Preview

Another match from group E where Costa Rica will play against Germany.

Costa Rica got thrashed 7-0 in the first match of the competition against Spain, but after that match, they showed great character against Japan and got a win in that match. That was in favor of Germany also because Germany now with a win here can advance to the knock-out stage. Costa Rica could be satisfied even with a point here, as if Japan loses against Spain then they will qualify.

Germany lost their first match against Japan which was a big surprise but they played well and were superior in that match. In the second match, they got a draw against Spain that is not at all a bad result. Here they must win if they want to qualify and I believe they will win this match although Costa Rica is a tough team.

Costa Rica played solid in their second match but again they had a small amount of possession and opportunities and against Germany, I believe it will be similar to the match against Spain. They will try to defend but it will be hard and Germany will not allow a game against Japan to repeat itself again.
