England vs France Match Preview

England and France will play this match in the quarterfinals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

England displayed a great style of football against Senegal where they won 3-0 without any problems. It was a tough game but still England will have a much harder task against France in this quarterfinal. They had easier games against Senegal, the USA, Wales, and Iran while France had maybe a little bit tougher opponents so it will be an interesting clash.

France had to play against Denmark, Australia, and Tunisia. They won easily their group and after that, they outclassed Poland in their first knockout game. France won 3-1 in that match, but in the first half, they weren't that good. In the second half, they were much improved and deservedly won. Mbappe was sensational. Mbappe didn't train yesterday and it will be really important for France that he is ready.

France and England are big rivals and this will be a big game. I believe both teams will start a bit slow in this match and I expect them to be more defensive-oriented. I expect Southgate to go out with three real midfielders and Walker at right back. Also, France will maybe modify their formation. It will be a tough and tight game and I don't expect a lot of goals.
