England vs Senegal Match Preview

England will play against Senegal in their first knock out game of the 2022 World Cup. 

England topped their group very easily and they did that after sixteen years than the last time they topped their group in a World Cup final stage, back in 2006. England looks so strong and it won't be a surprise if they end up winning this World Cup. English fans had criticised Southgate a lot but seeing him adopting a more attacking football make most of them silent for the time enjoying the games. 

England always play with Sterling in important games but I think it's time now to put him on the bench and start either Foden or Rashford who have been in very good form. Kane is a definite starter but needs to find the net as he is goaless this World Cup despite the fact that England has scored nine goals. Walker is fit now and Southgate might start him here instead of Trippier. 

Senegal did ot well beating Ecuador in their final group game but this one will be their biggest test so far. It would be very hard for them to attack against England who rarely allow opponents to open them up.

The best player for Senegal Sadio Mane was ruled out of this World Cup due to injury and undoubtedly, if he was available, he would have disturbed England's defence. 

I predict that England will lead at the break.
