Morocco vs Spain Match Preview

Morocco and Spain are going to play their first matches in the knock-out stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Morocco was in a group with Croatia, Belgium, and Canada and they ended first which was a big surprise but they definitely deserved it. Their defense was really solid there and they managed to keep a clean sheet against opponents like Croatia and Belgium which is really impressive. They really played well and they have a strong squad with players like Saiss, Aguerd, Ziyech, Hakimi, etc. 

Spain ended up losing against Japan and that was an interesting result because they finished second-placed in that group, behind Japan. That sent them against Morocco in the first match of the knock-out stage but the most important is that they will avoid Brazil in the upcoming quarter-final if both favorites prevail in their matches. They also played good defense and their style of play is like that.

This will be a tough game for both teams. Morocco is playing really well and their defense is good with Mazraoui, Hakimi, Aguerd, and Saiss. Spain also with their style of play has a stable defense because they are keeping the ball a lot.  I definitely expect a low-scoring match here.
