Netherlands and Argentina will play this match in the quarterfinals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar

The Netherlands qualified for the quarter-finals after their win against the United States of America. They weren't that big favorites against them but in the end, they displayed great composure and tactics in that match prevailing 3-1 without many problems. Their fullbacks were sensational in that game, Dumfries and Blind were their best players. This match will be completely different for the Netherlands as they are playing against one of the favorites of the tournament.

Argentina won their group with a lot of problems and after that, they had arguably the easiest knockout phase match as they played against Australia. They beat them, however, they had some problems in that match. Argentina's defense showed to be their main strength in this tournament and I will expect it to be in this match also.

Both Netherlands and Argentina like to play a little bit more defensively minded. The Netherlands is not playing that well in this tournament but Van Gaal's team has the desired results so far. I expect to see a tight game and maybe at the half, we are not going to see any goals being scored.
