Newells are on their worst moment

Newells came 22nd between 28 teams of Superliga the previous season, with plenty of economic problems. They had to leave many 'expensive' players and get young ones with no experience and so the team haven't been formed yet, despite the fact that the Championship starts in a week. They played against CA Union twice earlier in July in Santa Fe Cup (2-2, 0-1), while they were defeated 2-1 from Belgrano last Saturday in a friendly game. L.Grimi and F.Nadalin were injured in that game and so they won't play in tonight's game, just like team's best scorer Luis Leal.

Defensores Unidos were upgraded in third category of Argentina's football the previous May. Now A.Ordano, S.Countreras, E.Caceres, A.Resler and B.Almeida are concluted in the team. The first three of them played in Cup's previous round where they eliminated Godoy Cruz, a team who also play in Superliga, in penalties (1-1 regular time). Their dangerous attackers J.Velazquez and A.Franzoia. who have experience from other teams of bigger levels, made the difference.

Newells are on their worst moment, while they are playing against a team who are two levels belows but as they showed in the previous round of the tournament, they ignore the danger. This game may surprise us, since it's for the Cup and the 7.50 which is offered to the Defensores Unidos is just extraordinary.
