Portugal vs Uruguay Match Preview

Portugal will play against Uruguay in their second game of the FIFA World Cup 2022, Group H. 

Portugal started their World Cup campaign with a win against Ghana by three goals to two but it was a very controversial match as the penalty Portugal awarded was controversial. Ronaldo broke the record as he became the first player who scored in 5 World Cups. 

Portugal does not have injury issues and their manager most probably will not make any changes. Fernando Santos would be expecting his team to improve in defense as they were poor in the last game. 

Uruguay started their World Cup with a draw against South Korea. They were the better side on the pitch and they even hit the woodwork more than once. Uruguay is in good form as they have won three, drawn two, and lost just once out of the last six games played. 

Pellistri, Suarez, and Nunez were the front three for Uruguay and it was quite shocking as Pellistri has never started a league game for Manchester United. Araujo for Uruguay has been picked but he has been having injury issues so he might miss this game as well having missed the last. 

I expect a tough game here and my prediction for the game is Uruguay not to lose.
