R. Oviedo vs Albacete Match Preview

Oviedo faces Albacete for the 23rd round of the Spanish Segunda Division at the Estadio Neuvo Carlos Tartiere with no spectactors.

After the bore draw against Logrones, the hosts remained winless for four consecutive rounds in the league, having 3 draws and 1 defeat. Inevitably, Oviedo dropped at the 12th place of the standings, sharing this spot with three more teams, being 6 points below the top-six spots and 7 points above tonight's opponent. 

Albacete, on the other hand, comes in great shape, having 3 wins and 1 draw for 2021 so far. After these positive results, they climbed up the ranks and finally got away from the rock bottom of the table. They now have a total of 21 points and they are just a breath away from getting out of the relegation zone.

The offered odds are clearly on the hosts' side, but I totally disagree with this judgment. The hosts come from consecutive negative results, having won just the 3 out of 11 home games so far, having also 5 draws and 3 defeats.

Albacete is in a good momentum and desperately needs points. I think they will avoid defeat in this one, and their chances to get all three points seems more likely than the offered odds at 5.50 indicate.
