Without a true competitive motive

Fortuna Sittard weren't competitive at all in Groningen's home so they suffered a 3-0 loss as it was expected. However, this result doesn't mean anything to them as they've already secured their participation in next season's Eredivisie. Central defender W. Dammers won't perform tonight.

Feyenoord's home loss to Den Haag was a big surprise, after their 5 consecutive games without a sinle loss. G. van Bronckhorst's team have secured the third place which leads to next season's Europa League group stage, regardless of their result tonight. Defenders R. Martina and R. Haps as well as goalkeeper J. Bijlow won't be in contention. R. van Persie completed his career in the game vs Den Haag where he was glorified by Feyenoord's fans .

Fortuna Sittard had a decent performance this season in front of their fans (7-5-4). They suffered losses only from the top teams of Eredivisie. On the other hand, Feyenoord were never a threat for Ajax and Eindhoven, actually, they paid for their weakness to dominate in their away games (5-5-6).
